  • Eligibility

    • The American Science Olympiad 2025 is open to students from Grades 1–8.

    • Students from the USA and international schools are eligible to participate.

    • No prior Olympiad experience is required to participate.
       

  • Registration

    • Registration for ASO 2025 is free.

    • Seats are limited per grade and will be confirmed after successful registration.

    • After registration, students will receive the official grade-wise ASO curriculum, practice paper, and mock test access.
       

  • Curriculum & Syllabus

    • The listed Olympiad topics are suggestive only.

    • A detailed grade-wise curriculum and practice paper will be shared after registration.
       

  • Test Format & Participation Guidelines

    • The Olympiad will be conducted as a live online test from home.

    • Students will participate individually with a stable internet connection.

    • Test duration and question count vary by grade, as specified on the Olympiad page.
       

  • Test Dates & Timings (CST)

    • Grade 1:
      January 16, 2026 (Friday) – 05:00 PM CST

    • Grade 2:
      January 17, 2026 (Saturday) – 01:30 PM CST

    • Grade 3:
      January 18, 2026 (Sunday) – 01:30 PM CST

    • Grade 4:
      January 17, 2026 (Saturday) – 03:30 PM CST

    • Grade 5:
      January 18, 2026 (Sunday) – 03:30 PM CST

    • Grade 6:
      January 18, 2026 (Sunday) – 11:30 AM CST

    • Grade 7:
      January 17, 2026 (Saturday) – 11:30 AM CST

    • Grade 8:
      January 16, 2026 (Friday) – 06:30 PM CST

  • Scholarships & Awards

    • Scholarships are awarded based on rank achieved in the Olympiad.

    • Rank 1: 100% Scholarship*

    • Rank 2–6: 75% Scholarship*

    • Additional rewards may include:
            $4,000 Olympiad Scholarship for the Top Ranker
            Digital Interview & Feature Recognition
            Certificate of Achievement

  • Certificates

    • All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

    • Rank holders will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the American Science Olympiad.
       

  • Communication After Registration

    • After registration, participants will receive:

      • Official ASO curriculum

      • Practice paper and answer key access

      • Exam day instructions

      • Certificate of participation

      • Access to the ASO community and newsletter
         

  • General

    • The American Science Olympiad focuses on concept-based, inquiry-driven learning.

    • Participation in ASO 2025 implies acceptance of the above terms.
